haha.. i am in the office now using the laptop here.. haha.. woops.. maybe i shouldn't be blogging.. haha.. now i think i got the hang of work. like i roughly know what figures to find when i do auditing here.. haha.. and i have energy to cycle at night on some nights! haha.. that day ivan, daryl, greg and i went to changi and back. there by coastal and back by road. through changi and simei then back down tanah merah to bedok. haha.. quite fun for a short ride. haha..oh for driving yesterday i did u-turns and 3-point turns. my instructor says that my turning and returning is quite good.. quite accurate and won't like sway around. haha.. and i did a 3-point turn on a narrow road. like just a bit bigger than a 1-way road. anyway tml i have driving again. i hope i won't get the fierce instructor.. i don't really like that guy... so fierce.. makes me so nervous i can't drive properly.. somemore tml i am doing test routes.. i hope i can clear 4 test routes.. but 3 is also fine. i hope i get the same instructor.
work is still fine so far. haha... doing sale and purchases. i think work life is pretty mundane if i keep this up.. and i won't be achieving much leh. haha.. i think i will find something else to do at the same time.. and hopefully afte i adjust to this kind of life then i wil have more energy.. not just being dead tired every night when i get back... haha cell group yesterday was pretty fun! are you a platoist or an aristocrat? (meaning from plato or from aristotle)ok here's a little philosophy lesson. plato is the perfectionist. he believes that there is an ideal form for everything, and all of us now exist as an image ofthe ideal but not yet the ideal. this would explain how you are different and always changing.. meaning the "you" now is different from the "you" 10 years ago or 10 years to come. aristotle is more of the biologist.. he believes that there are many images of a certain ideal and all are real. for example a leaf. every leaf is different and all are not perfect. but they are all leaves. yeah ok maybe that is a little too much.. hahaanyway.. there's practically almost nothing interesting going on now!! haha... maybe lisa's birthday party soon.. haha.. 26th... that's like next week. haha..
hey. it's been quite long since i last posted.. haha.. well i finally found a job with stella's mom's friend at chan and chan auditors. haha.. it is quite nice... you really get to do te auditing stuff.. learnt some stuff...haha.. okay.. i am going to go for a short coastal trip... maybe if i am still not tired after that i'll blog more.. haha..
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!haha ok.. on the second day of the new year i went to matthew's place to play tennis and swim.. haha.. his cousin and her boyfriend also played too. haha.. i think i didn't play very well but ok lah... recovery period. haha.. (excuses..) anyway.. the swimming part was the most fun for me, and i think the most tiring for everyone else. haha.. we played blackjack or 21 or bun-luck.. in the pool with matthew's new waterproof cards. aha.. and if you burst or lose to the banker, or the banker loses normally, the penalty is 1 short round.. then if someone bun-luck (ie gets 21 with two cards only), or if someone can get 5 cards without bursting, is 1 long round! about 80m. the short one maybe only 30m. haha.. well.. i got at least 6 long and i helped weiling swim 1 long one too! haha...well it was fun. then we had varsity cell in church at 8pm in church.we talked about socrates, and generally on philosophy. haha.. well alot of quotes. and abstract thinkings.. now i have new material on plato to read up on..haha.. actually it's quite nice for someone not reading anything to keep his mind thinking.. haha.. okay i am going to play some games..haha..
countdown 2006. well it was pretty fun i guess. at first yesterday we were supposed to go out... with stella and joel and jing. but then joel and jing couldn't make it so in the end we cancelled it... well stella i hope your countdown was ok. haha.. oh oh long worship first! haha. well it was the last sunday of the year so we had long worship. and dunno why hsiao hwee picked aaron for first guitarist but i think it's his way of letting aaron gain experience. haha.. well it went quite well... i mean of course it went quite well... the practice on saturday was 3 and a half hours!!!! that's like crazy lah! we even practiced on sunday morning...ok then the countdown.. we were at meridien eating lunch when some of us realised we din have countdown plans anymore... lucky sze chieh opened his house to us... we went there to play table tennis and watch the countdown.. basically after that was about crap talk... literally... haha.. but it was pretty fun watching and playing a bit of table tennis... haha... well at least i din spend my countdown by myself at home. haha..
